Purposes and Goals

  The purpose of the FBLA Club is to develop competent, aggressive business leadership skills, strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work, create more interest in and understanding of the American business enterprise, encourage members in the development of individual projects that contribute to the improvement of home, business, and community, development character. Other purposes include the development of character, prepare for useful citizenship, foster patriotism, encourage scholarships and promote school loyalty. The club also practices and encourages efficient money management, and facilitates the transition from school to work.
 

Activities

  The FBLA Club participates in activities such as Homecoming Festivites in October, the Thanksgiving food-drive in November, the Christmas Adopt-a-Family in December, the District VI Conference in February, and the Louisiana FBLA State Leadership Conference in 2007. Students interested in joining FBLA must have had or are currently in a business class. Students participate in the district meeting and have a yearly cookout at Mrs. Stilley's house.
