Students in RAD take a stand against drug use and abuse. Monthly meetings help students deal with the pressures many students face.
The purpose of the RAD are to help students lead a drug free lifestyle. Members pledge to support each other in staying drug free, planning and implementing activities that help to educate peers on the importance of being and staying drug free, and being positive role models in and out of the classroom.
RAD is involved in Red Ribbon Week, National Smoke-Out Week, Alcohol Awareness, Life Skills Training, Conflict Resolution Training, Random Acts of Kindess, and March of Dimes Walk.
RAD members want to help peers stay drug free. We want to tell others about the dangers and consequences of using drugs, tobacco, and alcohol. We want to promote a positive lifestyle by having activities throughout the year that promote fun and participation without the use of drugs. We value life and the lives of our freinds and family.
